Properly Cleaning Your Belly Ring

5:51 am Travel

If your belly button piercing becomes infected you may need to seek professional help. If you have had the piercing for a while the infection could be a sign of something more serious. While this is true, many times an infection is caused by inserting a belly button ring that has not been properly sterilized into the piercing hole. If you believe that this is the case you should immediately remove the belly ring and cleanse the area with alcohol. However, if you just had the piercing done you should leave the belly ring in it’s place until you see your doctor.
