When I first heard about the new law that was going to require all of my cargo to be screened, I wasn’t worried. After all, I didn’t ship very many things on passenger aircraft. Besides that, the law wasn’t going to be implemented for several years. Now, I do much more shipping that way. I am all of a sudden realizing that the deadline is only a week away– and I don’t have a plan! I need to get a cargo screening program in place as quickly as possible. I have heard that there is a company that helps shippers become certified to screen. I think I need to look into that.
