I can’t say that the thought of looking up taupo homestay on the net had ever crossed my mind but I thought of it when I was watching a travel show on TV and they were staying at one somewhere overseas. Seeing as we were off to the lake I thought I’d see if any such places existed down there and it turns out there are some that go by that description. Just for a change I thought we should give it a go and we ended up having a lovely time. The hosts were a very friendly couple and the palce itself was very nice and in a beautiful setting.
