A subsidiary of German Sportswear Company Adidas is the Reebok International Limited; it is a producer of athletic footwear, apparel, and accessories. In the whole world this Reebok Running Shoes are widely used. The name, Reebok, comes from the Afrikaans spelling of rhebok, which is a type of African gazelle. In 1895 this company was founded in Bolton, England and was renamed to Reebok in 1958. Joe and Jeff Foster are the company’s founders, apparently found the name,  rhebok, in a dictionary that was  won in a race by Joe Foster when he was a boy.  The dictionary turned out to be a South African edition, hence the spelling of the companies name
