The Ghillie Suit is a suit that is worn to provide the highest level of camouflage possible.  As opposed to regular camouflage, Complete Ghillie Suits are significantly different; in the sense that Ghillie Suits are covered with burlap, jute webbing and with natural materials that are attached to the suit. This gives the Ghillie Suit a 3-Dimensional look and provides the illusion of human invisibility. Having used the Ghillie Suit myself, I have stood, laid down on the ground, squat near a bush, and I’ve gone unnoticed – its really quite fascinating! Another reason to why you need a Ghillie Suit is that humans have a distinct scent to animals, and can sense when humans are nearby. Ghillie Suits are often treated and scented in mud, manure or a combination of both to eliminate your human scent. If you question any military personnel or snipers, they would tell you that without the Ghillie Suit they would have been dead if they went on any missions without it.
