It is so wonderful when your children marry people you would have loved to be part of your family anyway!  Our son-in-law was a dear, and we took him to our heart the first time we met him.  For the wedding cufflinks he gave my husband were cufflinks that stated “#1 Dad” and their wedding date engraved on it.  It brought tears to my eyes, and my husband showed all our friends at the weeding the cufflinks, and wore them every chance he could.  He even had the photographer take a picture of the cufflinks so that he could show that to everyone he knew.
