My work day was short, because the client did not show up. I decided to call it a day early, and head for home. Once I got into my apartment I decided to read a magazine. I read a great article about half-marathon training and how wonderful the results were for people. It also discussed where the program could purchase it at a discounted price. I have a basketball game that I am going to play in Chicago with some of my friends. I know that it will be hard for me to find a way to get the shoes I want before then, but it does not hurt to try. What a weekend of upset in the FA Cup hey, all Man utd supporters must still be reeling from the fact that they have lost out to a league one team but i bet every Leeds supporter in the country have sore heads today.

A few friends of mine have been looked for a place to stay to see the local football games.  They come from out of state and every time they look, everything is booked.  I told them that they should try to book six months in advance to secure a room, that way they should be guaranteed a hotel near leeds fc.  The did just that six months ago and it is now only a few weeks until the big game.  We plan on inviting them over or our home and having a few beers and good food with them before we all go over to the game.  We can’t wait!

My girlfriend just informed me that she has joined a gym. At first i was a bit shocked because she is not the health and fitness type but after she explained she was joining the world famous Kickboxing sutherland shire gym. I was completely supportive of her. The trainers at that club are all champions of the sport. And everything they do is passionate and enthusiastic. Martial arts is a way off life for them. I was a bit put off by the price of joining but soon realised the benefits my girlfriend would be experiencing would be well worth it. She would increase her strength, co-ordination and flexibility and make new friends at the same time.

We had two Gooseneck Flatbed Trailers modified with traveling cages for our hunting dogs. We used to put them in the back of the pickup that has a camper, but the cages didn’t fit very well and when we needed to haul five dogs, we really only had room for four.  The utility trailer is easy to hook up and the dogs each have their own place.  That keeps peace in the family.  It wasn’t very expensive to have the trailers modified and it sure has made it easier to get all the dogs where they are supposed to be.  

My wife and I had a terrible argument the other night. It all started when I commented that her clothes were looking a little tight lately. At first she thought I was complimenting her figure. Then she realized that I was implying that she had gained too much weight. I had no idea how sensitive women can be about the subject of weight-gain. I do understand now. Before she was done shredding me verbally she said that I should read a book on how to lose beer gut. I guess she has a point. My shirts have been too tight for ages. That’s why I switched to t-shirts. Maybe when she calms down we can talk about joining a gym together.

Snowboarding is the best sport around.  There is nothing more fun to do on a cold winter’s day.  I just bought a new snowboard for this season and now I am looking for some burton snowboard boots.  My friend told me about this great site online that has some killer deals on these boots.  I will be checking it out today, so hopefully I will be able to get them ordered today.  That should get them to my house by the time we get enough snow to get out there.  I am looking forward to this winter season.  It should be a lot of fun.
