I started out as a barber, if you can believe it.  I cut all sorts of hair.  For a while, I was working for some of the hottest people in the country, chopping the locks of famous singers, dancers, politicians, and other celebrities.  I liked the job a lot, because I was able to talk with them and find out all about the secret lives of the elite of this world.  Unfortunately, about mid-April I was laid off because the manager found out that I was falling in love with one of the clients, which he deemed to be inappropriate.  I really thought it was all right, but has very strict standards for who can and can’t interact with whom.  A tyrant, we call him.  Regardless, after three months of unemployment, I joined a study abroad center and now make my living selling travel insurance information to young people about to set off around the world.  It’s a change, but I’ve grown to like it.

A friend built raised garden beds and really liked them for the first couple years. He used the wrong wood and it started breaking down after about three years, so he had to rebuild the sides with weather treated wood. It was a hard lesson to learn. I benefited from his experience and used treated wood that the lumber yard guaranteed would hold up. Four years later, my wood looks almost new and I have well established plants giving me lots of flowers and vegetables every year. I like the ease of weeding and the natural pathways between the beds. I only need to water where the plants are, not the whole area.

My husband loves to go fly fishing, and he had been complaining about the rod he had been using for several years. I wanted to buy him a new one for his birthday, but I wasn’t sure what kind to get for him. It would be too obvious to ask him, so I went online to a Northwest Saltwater Fly Fishing website, and I found out which rods were the best. I ordered one for him, and he was so surprised when I gave it to him at his party. He went out the next day and tried it out, and he said that it was perfect.

Me and my husband kept trying to find the right baby blankets for our newborn daughter. Since she was our first baby, we really had no idea what to buy. The blankets we had were just not working out and she kept getting out of them. Finally, I went to Target one day and found these really light and stretchy blankets. They are made of muslin material. Not only are they good for swaddling, they are long enough to be a nursing cover, a spit rag, a towel, or a playtime blanket. The box came with four, and I have not had to buy any other blankets since!

I did not realize how much financial information is available online until I lost my job.  My friends had been suggesting I try various sites and several suggested I do a search for, “make good money with me“.  They said it would lead to some great information.  Without a job I had a lot of time and finally began doing the Internet research I had put off.  To my surprise there was a lot of information  which eventually led me to an online opportunity.  I never did go back to my standard job and long commute.  The income I am generating online is excellent and I love what I do.

My computer began slowing down and getting errors, I found this very irritating because it wasn’t old, and I also have virus protection and a great firewall. I was getting so bothered by this that I was going to buy a new computer. My brother found out about this and told me to go online and get regcure, I did and let me tell you, my computer runs like it is brand new and its all thanks to this easy to download registry cleaner. I know now that a computer that is slowing down and getting errors is just overloaded and needs a good cleaning. 

We are trying to figure out whether or not we could generate part of our energy using wind power. I am trying to find some wind power designs that are geared to home energy production to see whether it looks like they would work given our location and other requirements. Hopefully I can get a good idea of what would be required and make an informed decision on whether or not to purchase the necessary supplies. I know that there are kits available, so I might want to just get one of those to make things easy, as long as the end result would be efficient.

When I got home the other night, I found my wife on the computer.  I asked her what she was doing, and she told me that she was halfway through this commodity trading course that she had started.  She said that she will be able to trade on the web as soon as she is done with the course.  She said that after she finishes it, and starts trading, she can start making money.  I told her that I would be glad to help her out with any thing that she needs.  She assured me that she was doing okay on her own.

I get bothered when people tell me I’m too superficial and concerned about appearances.  To be honest, I’m probably not vigilant enough.  I don’t buy into vanity necessarily being a bad thing because like it or not, you will be judged on your appearance.  If you’re 100 pounds overweight I can promise you that people talk about how fat you are and strangers will certainly think lesser of you because of it.  If I were to meet you and found out you smoked, I’d judge you for it and I can’t help it, I just do it and I’m not going to be changing anytime soon.  If your teeth are yellow, get the best teeth whitening you can.  If they’re crooked, get ‘em straightened.  Comb your hair, cut yours nails and look good.

We just adopted a new puppy! She is a chocolate lab and she is so sweet! We named her Shelby. She loves to play and to be petted. We just bought her some new toys and blankets. My husband found her on the Free Classified Ad web site. She is a welcome addition to our family. Next, we are putting up a gate in the backyard, so she can have more freedom. She is going to be a very spoiled puppy. My mom came over to see her and brought a box of puppy treats. I am sure Shelby is going to love growing up here.
